Committed to strengthening our technical expertise and fostering collaboration, Your Forest A.C. held its First Plant Nursery Gathering, a day dedicated to knowledge sharing, technical exchange, and strengthening the work of our nursery teams.

We were honored to welcome Biologist Víctor Hugo Hernández from the ONCA Nursery in Comitán, who conducted a technical visit to our four plant nurseries: San Nicolás, Manzanas, Humedales, and San Lucas. During the visit, he provided technical guidance, shared his expertise, and offered valuable recommendations to enhance our plant production processes.

The gathering brought together 21 members of our nursery teams, who presented the progress achieved at each nursery, discussed the main challenges they have faced, and shared the strategies they have implemented to improve production and operational efficiency. This initiative strengthens knowledge exchange, encourages continuous improvement, and reinforces Your Forest A.C.'s commitment to producing high-quality native plants that support ecosystem restoration and biodiversity conservation.

The observations and recommendations shared during the gathering have already been incorporated into our continuous improvement plan, with the goal of further professionalizing our work and producing higher-quality native plants for our ecosystem restoration programs.

We firmly believe that sharing knowledge strengthens our collective impact. By working together, we continue to grow, deliver better results for our donors and partners, and provide healthy, high-quality plants to the communities and ejidos that make reforestation possible alongside us.
