They play fundamental ecological roles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83c\udf27\ufe0f They capture and store rainwater<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc38 They create microhabitats for insects, amphibians, and other organisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf33 They contribute to the balance of the cloud forest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf3f They increase the structural biodiversity of the ecosystem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In many areas, extraction, forest degradation, and land-use change have reduced their presence. Reintroducing them is a concrete action to restore ecological processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc69\ud83c\udffd\u200d\ud83c\udfeb Environmental Education Through Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the workshop, students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learned about the ecological role of bromeliads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practiced proper placement and care techniques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reflected on the importance of conserving mountain ecosystems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actively participated in the reintroduction process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These kinds of experiences generate something deeper than information: they create awareness and a sense of belonging. <strong>When a young person understands that the forest is not just scenery, but a living system, their relationship with the territory begins to change.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando una y un joven comprende que el bosque no es solo paisaje, sino sistema vivo, comienza a cambiar su relaci\u00f3n con el territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf0e More Than Planting Trees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Your Forest, we promote actions that integrate ecological restoration and community education.
